Cat6A Cable

Cat6A cable is specified by TIA/EIA-568C.2 for enhanced performance standards for twisted pair cable systems. Cat6A cables perform significantly better on the back of these improved specifications, in particular when focused on crosstalk, when compared to Cat6 cables, allowing speeds of up to 10Gbps (versus 1Gbps for Cat6 Cables).

D-Link has opted for enhanced 23 AWG solid bare copper, providing a more reliable and improved performance profile when comparing to the specifications, allowing a 500MHz frequency to support data at 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T and 10GBASE-T (10 Gigabit Ethernet) speeds.
